RECONDITE
I am please to share a rare opportunity to collect a secondary-market artwork created from an early and now fully placed period of my practice.
Recondite was created in 2021 and sold in 2022. Works from this era are no longer available on the primary market, making this a particularly uncommon offering.
This painting was a part of my collection titled "Duality" - created between 2020 and 2022. Recondite was exhibited at West End Art Space in Melbourne during my solo exhibition Duality (2022), and later at Behind the Canvas, a group exhibition at The Arx in London the same year, where it was acquired by its original collector.
"The moment anything enters existence, duality is born. The dance between two opposing forces moves through everything; it is the basic fabric of reality. The moment something comes into existence it is subject to the laws of two opposites. Like and unlike, matter and dark matter, light and shadow, conscious and subconscious, birth and death, manifest and the unmanifest. Everything is the antithesis of something else."
I’m presenting this work as an opportunity to collect a meaningful piece of my artistic history, one that reflects a formative period in my practice and has continued to resonate with collectors over time. As my work continues to develop and appreciate, this offers not only the chance to live with a widely admired painting, but also to acquire a work that has demonstrated sustained value within my market.
